What you can do with Payroll Management
Each package starts at joining with fixed pay, variable pay and any sign-on bonus. When Recruitment records a signed offer for someone already in Raven, its pay is added here. Every increment is a new dated entry, letters attach to the record, and internship stipends are tracked separately.

Common questions
- Does Raven run payroll?
- No. Keka and RazorpayX remain the payroll processors. Raven tracks compensation (dated package changes, letters, bonuses, pay bands, cost and bill rates) and checks each month that what RazorpayX paid matches the recorded package.
- Who can see compensation data?
- Only HR leadership, for their own reportees, and Global Admins. Data is encrypted at rest with a payroll-only key, blurred on screen until revealed, and never shown in Slack link previews.
- Does Raven generate payslips or file statutory returns?
- No. Those stay in Keka and RazorpayX. Raven records packages and payouts and checks them against what was paid.
- Can I bulk-load cost and bill rates?
- Yes. The rate-card CSV import is safe to re-run: importing again never duplicates rows. People can also be marked rate-exempt.
